Privacy Policy

Accounts are optional

You can browse and order through Facebook Messenger without an account. If you want to order and pay on the website, you create an account with an email address and a password, and you can add your Facebook or Messenger name so we can recognise you when you message us.

We never send email. Your email address is only your login name: no newsletters, no one-time codes, no order emails. Your password is stored only as a secure one-way hash, so nobody (including us) can read it. When you sign up you get a recovery code; it is the only way to reset your password yourself.

Cookies

The website sets at most two cookies. One keeps you logged in, for up to 30 days, and is set only when you log in. The other remembers your welcome gift, so it is only offered once. Your browser also remembers that you closed the welcome pop-up. None of this is used for tracking or advertising, and there are no third-party tracking or advertising scripts.

Website orders and payments

When you order on the website we keep an order record: the invoice ID, the product and plan, the price and the amount to pay, any discount code used, and the dates it was placed, paid and delivered.

You pay by scanning our MariBank QR code in your own banking or e-wallet app; we never see your card, bank login or wallet details. Our bank sends us a notification for each payment we receive, and our system reads it to confirm your order automatically. From that notification we keep the amount, the reference number, the time, and the sender name as the bank shows it. If you type a reference number on the payment page, we keep that too.

How we count visitors

We keep a simple count of how many times each page is opened and which products get looked at. These are totals only: no IP addresses or personal details are stored with them.

Fonts are loaded from Google

Our page styling loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the fonts load, under Google's own privacy policy.

Ordering on Facebook Messenger

Orders and questions on Facebook Messenger are handled by Meta under Meta's own privacy policy. Through Messenger we see your Facebook name and what you send us.

What we keep and why

We keep your account and order records so you can see your order history and receipts, and so we can verify your purchase for warranty claims, as described in our Terms of Service.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties.
• We do not send marketing messages.
• We do not see or store your bank, card or e-wallet login details.

Removing your information

Message us and ask, and we will close your account and delete what we hold. Removing your order record also removes the proof of purchase your warranty depends on, so we will tell you before we do it.
